Mike Harrison
Registered Osteopath
I graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (UCO), with a Masters degree in Osteopathy following five years of study.
I have a young family and I am passionate about the great outdoors enjoying both the coast and country with walking, swimming, kayaking and cycling.
Following a sports related injury to my back I received help and treatment from an osteopath and discovered an interest in the health of the musculoskeletal system. I subsequently went on to train to be an osteopath and now enjoy helping other people in a similar way.

She decided to embark on studying to become an Osteopath after her father suffered a stroke and is looking to further education in stroke medicine, neurology and also animal Osteopathy.Â
Lorna offers a holistic approach for her patients, incorporating treatment, lifestyle advice and rehabilitation.
Our Approach
We strongly believe a healthy life is all about balance in everything we do, this includes what we eat, remaining active and enjoying a work-life balance with friends and family. If the body and mind is in a balanced state, then health can be restored and maintained.
We regularly use exercise in our treatment approach and will help patients to build exercise into their lives to help maintain good health.
Our Treatment
Our osteopathic treatments may combine a variety of structural approaches such as gentle stretching techniques, deeper soft tissue work, gentle joint mobilisation through to direct joint manipulation, with everything always carefully tailored to your unique needs as a patient.Â
We enjoy treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of injuries and conditions.
Peace of Mind
We are registered osteopaths with the General Osteopathic Council.
We are fully insured and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.

Frequently asked Questions
Patient information
What should I expect from my appointment
Your first appointment is approximately 1 hour long allowing us to take the time to understand you and your issue as an individual.
We will assess you fully to allow us to identify any associated areas that could be contributing to your pain and diagnosing the likely root cause.Â
Treatment is always tailored to your individual requirements and will be an agreement between both patient and practitioner. We will discuss with you our recommended treatment plan.
Subsequent appointments are usually 30 minutes long allowing us enough time to check how you have been since the previous appointment and provide the necessary treatment. If longer appointments are required we will discuss this with you.
We will keep a close track on objective progress made and make any necessary changes to treatment plans accordingly to provide optimal outcomes.
What should I wear to my appointment
Men should wear comfortable underpants or boxer shorts and ladies a back-fastening bra and pants. Please avoid all-in-one under-garments. Â
Please feel free to bring shorts and loose-fitting clothes to your appointment. We always want you to be comfortable, but do keep in mind that your practitioner may need to examine more than just the area of pain.
Do I have to undress?
Not if you don’t want to. It’s easier for us to assess your posture and movement if you undress to your underwear or shorts however we never ask you to do something you are uncomfortable with. Please let the practitioner know when you come for your appointment that you’d rather not.
